The Archbishop of Bombay Late Rt. Rev. Simon Pimenta presented the Pallottine Fathers the pastoral care of “Christ the King Mass- Centre”, as they called it then at Rasayani in 1998. In earlier times the Jesuits had ministered to the faithful at Rasayani. On November 22, 1998 at the feast of Christ the King, the Mass-Centre was acknowledged and accredited a self-regulating parish.

The present Priest-in-charge is Fr. Christopher Colombus.

• Fr. Anthony Correia was appointed the first priest-in-charge.
• The second priest-in-charge was Late Fr. Gnanapragasam who worked and died in the same parish.
• The third priest-in-charge was Fr.Thomas D’souza.
• The fourth Priest-in-charge was Fr. Anto Vijayan.
• The fifth Priest-in-charge was Fr. Charles Fernandes

The foundation stone for Christ the King Church was laid by Rt. Rev. Oswald Gracias then Auxiliary Bishop of Archdiocese of Bombay on 21-11-1999.
